Signal Corps of the James was founded in 2003 by a group of experienced reenactors that were looking for something different. We are a family oriented, mainstream Civil War reenacting unit based out of Central Virginia. Although most of our members are from Virginia we have members from other states as well.
The Confederate Signal Corps and Secret Service offer outstanding opportunities for an enriched reenacting experience. Whether you are looking for your first experience, or your 100th, Signal Corps of the James can be your home unit. We are Yankee and Reb friendly and frequently provide communications for both sides at major events. However, we also respect the wishes of our members and allow them to pursue their interests.
